We Are All Palestinian Today

Are you human? Are you humane? Then today, the least you can do, is declare yourself Palestinian. After a break from the bloodshed, the rockets, the artillary, Israel decided, yet again, to turn the life of the average Gazan citizen into a post-apoclyptic existence. As you read this you are probably seated comfortably in an air conditioned room, or on your deck overlooking beautiful trees or in your air conditioned car. These comforts are the furthest thing from the mind of the average Palestinian- whether they are within the geographical confines of Gaza or without.

The three things Palestinians know now are: death,destruction, and depression. Even more decomposing to the soul is the fact that Israel, driven by a definitively blood thirsty B. Netanyahu, is intent to destroy both Palestinian infrastrcture and resistance. One thing is certain, Bibi is in desperate need of some good history books. History, in a decisive way , shows that resistance to injustice can not be destroyed with a thousands rockets. Moreover, regardless of the complex web of regional alliances, an analytical look at social media analytics clearly shows Arab citizenary is whole heartedly behind a valiant Palestinian resistance- regardless of preception of Hamas. Governments like Bibi’s forget one important fact: there is an instinctive moral radar within most human souls that longs for a primary goal : justice.

So when you drink your cafe late today remember one thing : we are all Palestinian today !

When you say a prayer today say one for Gaza because: we are all Palestinian today !

When you despair of humanity lack of humanity simply shout: we are all Palestinian today!
