Maleficent & Netanyahu. Match made in Hell?

I say this with certainty: when I awoke to a bright sun punching its way through my window shades, this morning, I didnt expect I’d be penning a piece with Maleficient, the stuning character played by Angelina Jolie, and B. Netanyahu played by….himself pushing and prodding their way into my prose.

You wouldnt expect a modern retelling of sleeping beauty, albeit a brilliant one, to overlap ,in any way with, a blood thirsty MENA leader but the minds of Mid east watchers can be a dark forest of strange linkages, cryptic overlaps, and labrynthian psychological detail.

And a labrynth is Jolie. She isnt a mega star because of a glorious smile or a fabulous physique or her fuctionality as a major office box attraction. Jolie is a star because in her face you could see the complex map of the intricacies and subtleties of the psyche. Within her soul she possesses the capacity to relay a change from purity to pompacity, audaciousness to adroitness, and naivete to narcism .
But, and this is where the artist radically differs from the politician: Netanyahu, when playing the role of witch, is not acting.
