Gaza is not Hamas and Hamas is not Gaza

Nearly 200 Palestinians are dead in less than 1 week in Gaza. You can ignore the injustice, you may brush aside the blood, you can dismiss the collective Israeli punishement if you wish. But I dont and I wont- do you know why? Because, in the end, it comes down to one singular issue: the minute you cease being a humane soul is the minute you cease to exist. Feeling pain of the other is not as selfless as you may think, in fact , it is you who gains the most because you step forth towards the best label of all: a human.

So, next time you say I cant support Gazans because of Hamas, next time you allow politics to castrate your humanity just remember this: Gaza is not Hamas and Hamas is not Gaza.
